Carillon, Inc. is seeking an Admissions Coordinator in Lubbock, TX to manage the health center admissions process and maintain open communication with referral sources, physicians and third-party payers.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing the Health Center admissions process and for establishing and maintaining an open, effective communication between the facility and referral sources, physicians, and third-party payers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Good working knowledge of Medicare Part A and certification procedures. Experience in a long-term care setting desired. Must possess excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normally works in a well- lighted, comfortable office setting. Must be able to work efficiently with frequent interruptions. Must be able to move freely throughout the facility and able to lift (unassisted) 50 lbs. May be subjected to offensive odors and exposure to chronically ill and frail elderly. Must be free from communicable disease.
EQUIPMENT USED
The Admissions Coordinator will use the following equipment: computer and various computer programs, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, and phone usage.
