Position Overview:

The Admissions Coordinato r plays a pivotal role in a Skilled Nursing Facility, ensuring that the intake process for patients is efficient, compassionate, and compliant with all regulations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who possesses exceptional communication skills and a strong understanding of healthcare systems. The Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the admission procedures, which include gathering patient information, verifying insurance benefits, and facilitating the entry of patients into the healthcare facility. The role necessitates a proactive approach in addressing patient needs and concerns while collaborating closely with medical staff to ensure seamless transitions from admission to treatment.
