Job summary

Calo Programs in Missouri is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to warmly guide families, referral partners, and professionals through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment at Lake of the Ozarks. This on-site role requires empathy, organization, and strong communication to ensure a compassionate, efficient experience.

You will manage tours, meetings, records in Salesforce and BestNotes, coordinate events, and partner with multiple teams, with some travel for conferences.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience in residential treatment, behavioral health, or admissions is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check and health requirements.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for events and conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families, referral sources, and treatment professionals.
  • Guide families through the admissions process with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate and facilitate virtual and in-person tours, enrollment meetings, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and BestNotes; ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Support marketing and outreach efforts, including attending expos, conferences, and professional events (some travel required).
  • Develop a deep understanding of developmental trauma, ACEs, and Calo’s unique clinical model.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful admissions.
  • Learn and support funding processes including Medicaid, school district contracts, and Single Case Agreements.

Job description

Salary: $55,000 - $62,000 yearly DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday (9AM - 5PM)

Location: 130 Calo Lane, Lake Ozark, MO 65049

Calo Programs, a nationally recognized leader in trauma-informed care, is seeking a warm, organized, and driven Admissions Coordinator to join our team in the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks region.

As an Admissions Coordinator (AC), you’ll be the welcoming face and guiding hand for families, referral partners, and professionals navigating the admissions process. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth, compassionate, and efficient experience from the first inquiry to enrollment.

This is a highly interactive role that blends relationship-building, administrative precision, and mission-driven service. You’ll collaborate across departments, represent Calo at events and conferences, and help families take the first step toward healing.
