This role is the first point of contact for patients seeking care, guiding them through a compassionate, efficient intake and admissions process and ensuring clinical appropriateness for the level of care.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences or related field.
• 2+ years of experience; inpatient setting preferred.
• Two years in Intake/Triage/Admissions preferred.
• Computer proficient with heavy data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for psychiatric or behavioral health patients.
• Use clinical judgement to determine medical necessity and recommend levels of care.
• Gather and evaluate information for insurance precertifications.
• Respond to and triage incoming calls, providing guidance to patients, families, and referral sources.
