Job summary

WonderWorks Panama City Beach is seeking friendly Admissions Attendants to greet guests and introduce them to the upside‑down world of the attraction.

You will handle cash at the point of sale, answer questions, and upsell tickets or add-ons while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays; Equal Opportunity employer with background checks.

Responsibilities

• Greet, welcome, and interact with all guests as they enter and exit the attraction.

• Answer phones and courteously redirect calls to the appropriate department.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

WonderWorks is an indoor amusement park that combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands-on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.

WonderWorks Panama City Beach is looking for Admissions Attendants to join our team! Our Admissions Attendants are the first to interact with our guests as they welcome them into the adventure of the upside-down building. Admissions Attendants are an intrinsic part of positive ticket sale interactions including sharing valuable information with guests, setting the tone for the WONDERful experiences they have in store for them inside the attraction!

Responsibilities:

• Greet, welcome, and interact with all guests as they enter and exit the attraction
• Answer guest questions and offer assistance in a friendly manner that provides exceptional customer service
• Accurately process transactions through a point-of-sale system including proper cash handling in a high-volume environment
• Upsell guests on additional services offered at the point of sale including combo tickets, souvenir books, and ticketed shows if applicable
• Answer phones and courteously redirect calls to the appropriate department
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
• Observational skills to ensure safe practices and recognize guest needs
• Basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change
• Ability to stand or walk throughout the work area for prolonged periods
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and weather conditions required
• Previous themed entertainment and sales experience is preferred
