Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

We are seeking a dedicated Admissions Assistant to support the admissions process, ensuring that each referral is processed and reviewed in a timely manner and that every new resident experiences a smooth transition from the hospital, community, or other settings. The Admissions Assistant plays a key role in maintaining communication between departments and supporting the overall admissions process.

Admissions Assistant Requirements:

• Experience in healthcare, human services, marketing, census development, or admissions processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team setting with a positive and enthusiastic approach to tasks
• Professional grooming, manners, and conduct
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  
  
  

As an Admissions Assistant, you will:

• Assist with client inquiries and admissions procedures
• Organize and input information into databases
• Follow the facility’s admission process
• Partner with supporting team to manage bed availability and room readiness
• Verify primary and secondary payer sources
• If Medicare, verify the number of days available (HIQA and prior SNF)
• If PA/Pending, notify the business office regarding the application status
• Verify payment status on all new admissions
• Enter all face sheet information into the system, referring incomplete information to social services and business office for follow-up
