Job summary

Fairfield Bellarmine Campus seeks an Admission Counselor/Assistant Director to drive recruitment and enrollment efforts for a diverse first-year class. You will build relationships with students, families, counselors, and partners, and lead information sessions and interviews.

The role emphasizes access, inclusion, and student success, with responsibilities across outreach, events, and data management in Slate CRM. Evening/weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years experience in college admission, recruitment, student services, or related field preferred.
• Commitment to educational access, inclusion, belonging, and student success.
• Experience planning and coordinating events is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of recruitment initiatives to enroll a first-year class.
• Manage recruitment territory and build relationships with prospective students, families, counselors, and partners.
• Represent Fairfield Bellarmine at high schools, college fairs, and community events.
• Conduct admissions presentations, information sessions, and interviews with prospects.
• Review applications and participate in holistic evaluation for admission.
• Assist with enrollment processes for the incoming first-year class.
• Plan and coordinate yield events and outreach to prospective and admitted students.
• Maintain accurate records and communications through Slate and university systems.
• Support enrollment operations, data management, reporting, and office functions.
• Provide exceptional customer service and guidance throughout the enrollment process.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support recruitment and student success.
