The Division of Continuing Education (CE) at the Universityof Colorado Boulder is seeking applicants for several Admissionsand Operations Sr. Professionals ! This role supports onlineprofessional graduate programs, and/or online post baccalaureateprograms and is responsible for developing, implementing, andscaling a comprehensive recruiting strategy for these young andgrowing programs. Ideal candidates will need to be creative andinnovative self-starters able to establish a recruiting pipelineand grow enrollment.
We seek multifaceted individuals with the drive and analyticalskills to create thoughtful, strategic recruitment campaigns, project management skills to originate and lead complexinitiatives, and emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills tobuild collaborative relationships and provide prospective onlinestudents with excellent enrollment support. The recruitmentapproach for CU Boulder Online relies on high-touch engagementwith, and nurturing of, prospective students. Candidates should befamiliar with online learning, nontraditional students, recruitmentand admission procedures, advising practices, and financialaid.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Recruitment Strategy and Operations:
- Develop and implement the strategy for online studentrecruitment and admissions to continue growing onlineprograms.
- Provide a high touch approach to prospective student engagementby using known standard methodologies in recruitment and admissionssupport, in a timely and consistent manner.
- Identify new opportunities to create a replenishable anddiverse applicant pool and scale enrollment in required onlineprograms.
- Provide proactive and personalized engagement with prospectiveand newly admitted students, including nurturing leads, respondingto inquiries, providing program information, assisting with theapplication and enrollment processes, connecting to academic andstudent support services, facilitating timely and effectiveinterventions to resolve concerns or barriers, and assisting withsuccessful matriculation to University’s online programs.
- Conduct one-on-one meetings and communications via phone,video, text, and email with prospective students to provide ahigh-level of personalized service.
- Manage program email inboxes by providing timely and customizedresponses to prospective student questions and inquiries.
- Plan, manage and co-lead recruitment and networking events(virtual and in-person), including open houses, Q&A sessions,webinars, information sessions, participation in trade shows andconferences, etc.
- Plan and manage the application process for assigned programsand other online programs, as needed.
- Identify and manage relationships with external entities forrecruitment purposes, including other universities and private,public, and non-profit sector organizations.
- Manage online student recruitment efforts to help create aprogram and culture that appeals to a diverse pool ofapplicants.
- Track key performance metrics and evaluate success ofrecruitment and admissions efforts over time, taking intoconsideration the globalization and flexible nature of onlineprograms.
Student Enrollment Engagement and Communications:
- Liaise with program staff and CE Marketing to collaborate onthe development of and implementation of comprehensivecommunication strategy for prospective online students.
- Deploy and manage prospective student communications, includingemail nurturing campaigns.
- In collaboration with CE Marketing and other CE and Universityunits, implement highly effective external communication campaignsfor online student audiences.
- Build and nurture industry partnerships to benefit prospectivestudents.
- Liaise with other CU units, including International Admissions,Veteran and Military Affairs, Financial Aid Office, etc., asneeded, in order to support prospective students.
- Assist with the identification of potential industry,community, and non-profit organization partners to contribute tocreate new pipelines for prospective students.
Program Operations Support:
- Identify challenges, weaknesses, and trouble spots, makerecommendations for program growth and improvement, including newpolicies, resolutions, strategic foresight and other innovationswith a specific commitment to growing enrollment and increasingdiversity within the program.
- Manage and track enrollment and engagement statistics forassigned programs.
- Represent assigned academic programs at meetings, serve on CEor University committees, assist with special events and projects,etc.
- Participate in staff development activities, includingappropriate University workshops, conferences and programs, andstate and national professional organizations.
Professional Development and Unit Support:
- Attend CE and subunit meetings.
- Actively engage in CE-wide committees.
- Regularly seek out and attend professional developmentopportunities, specific to supporting online students.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or partneringdepartments/units.
What You Should Know
- The typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional irregular hours (i.e., an occasionalevening or weekend).
- Position is expected to be hybrid, with 2-3 days/week in theoffice.
What We Can Offer
The annual salary range for these full-time positions is $62,400 -68,000.

What We Require
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with abachelor’s degree in a field related to this position.
- 3 years of related professional experience, preferably inhigher education, admissions and recruitment, program management,advising, student success, career services, or similar roles.

- Experience working with online students and programs.
- Knowledge of the inquiry, decision-making, and commitment cycleof nontraditional students.

- Exceptional organizational, planning, analytical, and technicalskills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to build and foster relationships with prospectivestudents or clients, and the administrative staff who supportthem.
- Sensitivity to and appreciation of cultural, political, andgeographical differences with ability to work well with faculty,staff and students of diverse backgrounds.
What We Would Like You to Have
- Experience working with non-traditional or online studentpopulations.
- Master’s degree in a preferred field such as Student Affairs,Higher Education,
- Computer Science, STEM or another related field.
- Knowledge of Computer Science Education and its relatedProfessional Pathways.
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Experience working with a CRM (Client Relationship Management)System.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, supportingdiverse clients/students.
- Experience developing online enrollment processes, supportservices and standard methodologies.
