Job summary

Oakland University is seeking an Admissions Adviser to recruit, admit, and orient prospective students while supporting recruitment, yield, and transition programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (minimum) with at least one year of recruitment experience, good organizational and communication skills, and willingness to travel. A valid driver’s license is required; Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory. This is a full‑time position offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience and at least one year of student recruitment experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred but not mandatory.
• Must possess excellent organizational, analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively in and out of state and work extended hours is essential.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.

• Recruit prospective students and assist with their admission and orientation processes.
• Support the facilitation of recruitment, yield, and transition programs.
• Works within the Admissions department, focusing on student recruitment and enrollment support.
