SUNY Adirondack is seeking an Admissions/Enrollment Coordinator to support recruitment and admission initiatives across the Capital District and New York metropolitan area. You will advise a designated student population from inquiry through enrollment, manage applications, and provide high-quality advisement while collaborating with financial aid and student accounts.
The role involves campus tours, travel to high schools and recruitment events, and public presentations.
Support the Assistant Director of College Access on recruitment and admission initiatives. Provide advising services and relationship building as the single point of contact for a designated recruitment territory student population caseload from inquiry through application, admission, onboarding, and enrollment. Process, review & decision Admissions applications from assigned territory.Manage a recruitment territory focusing on the Capital District and New York metropolitan area. This includes occasional travel to high schools and recruitment events at the SUNY Welcome Center located in New York City. Active utilization of recruitment and advisement technologies including video conferencing and texting software, social media platforms, Banner, DegreeWorks, Starfish Retention Solutions as well as other emerging technologies. Incorporate effective utilization of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System, and assist in the application review aspart of the student acceptance process.
Experience working with a diverse population of students and familiarity with the Capital District, and New York metro area.
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Years of Experience 1 – 3 years’ experience in admissions/enrollment management. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Office environment. Frequently lifting 5 - 10 lbs. occasionally lifting 25 – 50 lbs.

Hourly Range $26.20 - $29.08 per hour
The selected candidate’s hourly rate will be determined based on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate’s qualifications, experience, education and other job-related credentials. This hiring range is provided as SUNY Adirondack’s good faith estimate of the expected hiring range at the time of posting.
