HOURS: 40 hours per week; typically 8AM to 5PM, 9AM to 6PM or 10AM to 7PM, varying through the week; some additional weekend or evening hours may be required based on business needs. There is potential for travel to conferences, college fairs, and recruitment/community events.

Position Overview

The Admissions Advisor is responsible for educating and attracting potential students to attend Herzing University through inbound and outbound phone interactions. This role involves providing information about the advantages of attending Herzing University, interviewing prospective students to understand their interests and needs, and guiding them through the enrollment process thoroughly and accurately.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least six months of experience as an associate admissions advisor or in a related field such as higher education, customer service, or sales
Pay and Benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is $23.17 to $31.39, with compensation determined based on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including tuition waiver and reimbursement, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to inquiries about Herzing University’s courses and programs via telephone, email, text, and chat.
  • Interview prospective students to assess their motivations, career goals, and potential obstacles.
  • Assist prospective students in identifying suitable educational programs and sharing the benefits of Herzing University.
  • Guide students through the admissions process, ensuring completion of requirements and connecting them to support resources.
  • Generate inquiries through outreach and community events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
