Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Focuses on RN-to-RN screenings for admissions and ensures medical appropriateness.
• Responds to inquiry calls regarding services.
• Oversees admission process including appropriateness, RN screenings, orders, and paperwork.
• Assists in assigning unit/program based on patient needs.
• Explains Hospital programs and services to physicians and providers.
• Gathers admission orders and medical clearance as needed.
• Ensures compliance with EMTALA and related regulations.
• Maintains data/records for medical screenings.
