Job summary

HIA Hospice is seeking an Admission Registered Nurse to perform admission assessments for potential patients and their families, aligned with the mission and philosophy of HIA Health. The role includes the initial admission and physical assessment for all admissions from the Grand Forks office.

The ideal candidate has an ND and MN RN license, 3–5+ years in hospice/palliative care or LTC, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in ND and MN.
• 3–5+ years of nursing experience (hospice, palliative care, or LTC preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
• Experience in hospice, home care, or end-of-life care.
• Background in outreach, education, or healthcare marketing.

Provision of the initial patient admission and physical assessment for all patients being admitted to HIA Hospice Services. Identifies and coordinates initial medication and equipment needs and completes the initial plan of care for all admissions.This position is full-time, exempt, benefit eligible, and will be based out of our Grand Forks office location.Pay Range: Starting at $34.67/hour (based on experience).HIA Health has a Drug Free Workplace Policy.
