Job summary

Savannah College of Art and Design is seeking an admission concierge guide to support both in-person and virtual recruitment, including LivePerson shifts and information sessions. You’ll also provide coverage for summer programs and other admission events.

You will host campus tours, assist prospective students and families, and collaborate with admission advisers. Travel and flexible hours, including weekends, are expected to meet recruitment goals and engage applicants.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit high-quality students for all locations and market segments.
• Build networking opportunities with teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni through prospect outreach and individualized attention
• Maintain prompt follow-up communication with prospective students about the university and the admission process
• Use SCAD's web chat tool to maximize outreach across all SCAD locations and support Liveperson shifts
• Ensure the highest proportion of right-fit students complete their applications and understand SCAD opportunities
• Meet prospective visiting students, lead university tours, attend SCAD Days, and participate in special events
• Participate in admission training and stay current with university policies, events, accolades, and programs of study
• Develop partnerships with admission advisers and provide leadership feedback and ideas
• Occasionally travel to represent the university at school events and information sessions
• Maintain flexibility throughout the recruitment year to support institutional and personal growth

Job description

As an admission concierge guide, you will play a vital role in both in-person and virtual recruitment efforts, such as LivePerson shifts and virtual information sessions. You’ll also provide coverage for summer programs and other admission events.

To support the admission team, you’ll:

• Identify and recruit high-quality students for all locations and market segments
• Build and create networking opportunities with teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni through prospect outreach and individualized attention
• Maintain prompt follow-up communication with prospective students to provide information and answer questions about the university and the admission process
• Use the university's web chat tool to maximize outreach across all SCAD locations and support the virtual recruitment team with Liveperson shift coverage
• Ensure the highest proportion of right-fit students complete their applications and fully understand the opportunities at SCAD
• Meet with prospective visiting students, lead university tours, attend all SCAD Days, and participate in special events as needed
• Actively participate in admission training sessions and stay current with university policies, events, accolades, and programs of study
• Develop a strong partnership with admission advisers to involve them in recruitment activities and regularly provide leadership with feedback and ideas
• Occasionally travel to represent the university to prospective students at school-specific events, information sessions, and similar events
• Maintain flexibility throughout the recruitment year to support institutional and personal growth

Work hours:

The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
