Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks a local chief executive agent to guide community-based care operations and drive overall company success. You will oversee daily activities, services, personnel performance, and office management to deliver high-quality home health care.

The role requires leadership, regulatory knowledge, and strong communication, with in-office attendance essential to achieve Enhabit objectives and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in health care administration or related field required; licensure as physician, RN, social worker, therapist, or LNHA preferred.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a manager or supervisor.
• Must not have been employed in the last year as an administrator with another operation at the time any enforcement action was taken against the business; per company compliance policies.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing home care operations.
• Mobile device competency.
• Must have a valid driver license and automobile liability insurance.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Demonstrated communication skills and technology proficiency (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily execution of operations and oversee services, staff performance, and office management.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.

Responsibilities

Serve as the local chief executive agent. Lead the local provider(s) in a better way to care for the community in which it serves, and contribute to the overall success of the company. Ensure the execution of operations are completed daily. Manage operations, services, personnel performance, and office management ongoing.

Qualifications

• Required to have a degree in health care administration or related field. Highly preferred licensed physician, registered nurse, licensed social worker, licensed therapist, or licensed nursing home administrator.
• Required minimum of two years’ experience as a manager or supervisor.
• Required to not have been employed in the last year as an administrator with another operation at the time any enforcement action was taken against the business; further described in the company compliance policies.
• Required to have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local laws and regulatory guidelines that govern the operation of a home care office.
• Required to have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• Required to have and maintain a valid state driver license in the current state of residence
• Required to have and maintain automobile liability insurance, as required by law.
• Required ability to travel by person vehicle up to 25% of the time.
  • Required to have and maintain a valid clinical license, per state requirements, or in accordance with the board of nursing rules for a compact nurse license.
• Required to have and maintain CPR certification, as required by position.
• Preferred to have minimum of one year of previous experience in a management position.
• Preferred previous experience in a home health care or hospice program.
• Preferred previous experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
• Preferred bilingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to facilitate clear communication with patients and caregivers, improve service delivery, and support positive patient outcomes.
• Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
• Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially MS office, including word, powerpoint, and excel.
• Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other position objectives.
  • Enhabit does not waive this essential function by permitting duties to be performed remotely on occasion to accommodate temporary personal needs, such as appointments, or to operate in crises beyond its control, such as during a natural disaster or pandemic.
