Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a local chief executive agent in Georgia to lead the provider network and drive high-quality community care. The role emphasizes operations oversight, staff performance, and compliance in a dynamic home health setting.

Ideal candidates have a healthcare administration background, a valid clinical license if applicable, CPR, and 2+ years in a supervisory role. A strong focus on leadership and regulatory knowledge is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in health care administration or related field required; licensed physician, RN, social worker, therapist, or nursing home administrator highly preferred.
• Two years’ experience as a manager or supervisor required.
• Must not have been employed as an administrator with another operation in the last year if enforcement action occurred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing home care operations.
• Basic technology skills including use of a mobile device.
• Valid state driver license and automobile liability insurance.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Clinical: valid clinical license or compact nurse license if applicable.
• CPR certification required.
• Preferred: 1+ year in a management role and experience in home health or hospice; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the local chief executive agent. Lead the local provider(s) in a better way to care for the community in which it serves, and contribute to the overall success of the company. Ensure the execution of operations are completed daily. Manage operations, services, personnel performance, and office management ongoing.

Qualifications

• Required to have a degree in health care administration or related field. Highly preferred licensed physician, registered nurse, licensed social worker, licensed therapist, or licensed nursing home administrator.
• Required minimum of two years’ experience as a manager or supervisor.
• Required to not have been employed in the last year as an administrator with another operation at the time any enforcement action was taken against the business; further described in the company compliance policies.
• Required to have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local laws and regulatory guidelines that govern the operation of a home care office.
• Required to have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• Required to have and maintain a valid state driver license in the current state of residence
• Required to have and maintain automobile liability insurance, as required by law.
• Required ability to travel by person vehicle up to 25% of the time.
• If clinical:
  • Required to have and maintain a valid clinical license, per state requirements, or in accordance with the board of nursing rules for a compact nurse license.
• Required to have and maintain CPR certification, as required by position.
• Preferred to have minimum of one year of previous experience in a management position.
• Preferred previous experience in a home health care or hospice program.
• Preferred previous experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
• Preferred bilingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to facilitate clear communication with patients and caregivers, improve service delivery, and support positive patient outcomes.
• Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
• Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially MS office, including word, powerpoint, and excel.
• Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other position objectives.
  • Enhabit does not waive this essential function by permitting duties to be performed remotely on occasion to accommodate temporary personal needs, such as appointments, or to operate in crises beyond its control, such as during a natural disaster or pandemic.
