Job summary

Stockton Unified School District invites applications for a full-time Single Subject Music teacher. A Bachelor of Music or related field and proper credential are required; experience teaching vocal and instrumental music across elementary and secondary levels is preferred.

Education And Experience

• A Bachelor of Music or a related field required.
• Master of Arts or advanced degree or equivalent standards from a recognized college or university preferred.
• Three (3) years of successful music teaching experience, preferably to include vocal and instrumental music at both the elementary and secondary levels.
• Leadership experience working with teachers and administrators. Experience in working with ethnically diverse populations.

Licenses, Certifications And Other Requirements

• Single Subject Music teaching credential required
• Appropriate California administrative and/or supervisory credential
• Possession of a valid California driver’s license
