THE POSITION
Washington County's Facilities, Fleet and Parks Department is seeking an engaged and reliable Management Analyst I to join an experienced team providing innovative, collaborative support services to meet the business needs of the Facilities, Fleet, Parks and Fair Divisions. Our focus is on excellent customer service and efficient support for department Maintenance Technicians, Supervisors, and Managers. This position will provide support and back up to the Administrative Manager and existing administrative staff, while also working on independent projects. This position offers a variety of tasks to keep busy collaborating internally with technicians, as well as with our diverse County staff.
The ideal candidate for this position will be committed to contributing to an inclusive and safe space for everyone within and interacting with the Facilities, Fleet and Parks Department. We are looking for an energetic analyst with a passion for public service, an eye for detail, and a strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task. They will demonstrate good communication skills and have consistent attendance. A successful candidate should also be able to shift priorities to respond to urgent work requests with pride, professionalism, and a positive demeanor. Our ideal candidate will be a team player who looks for system improvements and collaborative approaches to establishing standard operating procedures and drafting workflows for team dynamics.

Essential Job Duties
As a Management Analyst I in the Facilities, Fleet, Parks and Fair Divisions you will:
- Provide overall department support with contracts, bids, onboarding, construction invoicing, and data gathering.
- Act as a liaison with Human Resources to initiate job description updates and assist with recruiting and hiring functions.
- Develop public bids into procurement software; produce and initiate contract documents.
- Process departments payroll.
- Create a fee analysis for yearly budget approval.
- Complete policy/procedural administrative tasks, as well as work on other projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; OR
- Associate's Degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; AND two (2) years of responsible professional work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, financial, or similar analysis; OR
- Four (4) years of responsible work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, and similar analyses.

This is a non-represented position and is not covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
Regular and limited duration full-time employees working 30 hours or more per week and job share employees are eligible for benefits beginning on the first of the month following employment. Job share employees are responsible for 50% of the premium.
