Job description

Job Description: Administrative Assistant (Remote)

This is a fully remote position.

We provide Information Solutions Group (ISG) with information technology solutions and services to a broad range of clients, including Government and private industry sectors such as the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian agencies, healthcare, education, and small/medium businesses. Our team comprises highly trained analysts, engineers, and technicians who understand each segment's specific business processes, requirements, and functions. Our extensive IT background enables us to analyze existing processes, identify improvements, evaluate risks, and develop operational solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate user provisioning for adding, modifying, and removing users across multiple online systems.
  • Answer phones, monitor email inboxes, and manage the ticket queue.
  • Perform ticket triage for the WorkSmarter Help Desk and route requests appropriately.
  • Compile and document meeting minutes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clerical experience and familiarity with general office equipment. Relevant training may substitute for experience.
  • Typing skills: ability to type at 60 words per minute with no more than eight (8) errors.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of multitasking, and able to communicate clearly with end-users and support staff. Preferred skills include:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Following directions, taking ownership of tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with fillable Adobe Acrobat forms and data entry tasks.

The salary range for this position is $33,100 to $62,850, determined by location, skills, experience, and education.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Remote office setting; minimal physical effort, with occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods; operating office equipment; commuting may be required.
Work Hours & Attendance
  • Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are essential; flexibility may be required for surge situations.
Other Essential Functions
  • Maintain professional behavior, clear communication, and appropriate grooming.
  • Independent transportation required; travel to client locations may be needed, including potential airline travel.
  • Adherence to safety protocols, including seat belt use and no cellular use while driving.
