Drug Enforcement Administration is seeking qualified applicants for a GS-11/GS-12 level administrative support role in the Operations Division. The position covers office management, personnel management, property/space management, financial management, procurement, and general office services within the Office of Operations Management.

This position is located in the DEA, Operations Division, Office of Operations Management (OM) This position(s) primary purpose is to provide a full range of support and management services in such functions as office management, personnel management, property/space management, financial management, procurement, general office services, and office supplies, and equipment, as well as various administrative activities within the office.

Applicants must meet the required qualification requirements described below by the closing date of the announcement. If you are qualifying based on education or if there are mandatory education requirements listed below, you MUST submit a copy of your college transcripts with your application.
Applicants applying for the GS-11 must meet one of the following requirements:
A). Have at least one full year of specialized experience that is at least equivalent to work performed at the GS-09 grade level and your experience includes performing at least two of the tasks below as part of your regular duties. Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
B). Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
OR
C). Some specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have less than three years of graduate-level education as described in B. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least to 100 percent to qualify.
