Physical Requirements
This position requires lifting and handling boxes of paper and other office supplies (weekly), walking long distances across campus (periodically), and sitting for one to three hours at a time. Repetitive motion.
Shift
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Occasional overtime may be necessary.
Job Summary
The Markey Cancer Center is seeking an Administrative Support Associate II to serve as the team leader for administrative staff in the Markey Cancer Center’s Director’s Office and work with the Assistant Director for Administration to ensure smooth and seamless operation.
Duties include: providing clerical, logistical, and administrative support for executive team; planning and managing special events; and overseeing scheduling of both facilities and individuals.
In addition to being detail-oriented, the successful candidate will exhibit maturity and good judgment and have: proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; strong interpersonal skills; the ability to prioritize; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the capacity to work independently and with flexibility.
This position will have a fully on-site work arrangement.
