Job description

The primary purpose of this position is to provide clerical and administrative support to the organization in which the position resides.

Likely entry on duty: October-December 2026.

Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To qualify for this position at the GS-06 level, you must possess one of the following
  • A. at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level in the federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) that is directly related to the position to be filled. Examples of specialized experience include providing a variety of administrative support services to enable efficient operation of a business or program office, input into an automated financial system; making travel arrangements and preparing travel vouchers; verifying time and leave balances through an automated timecard system; and using and maintaining electronic data management systems.
