United States (U.S.) Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Duties
- Accomplishes the clerical and administrative functions of the DFMWR HQ. Develops and implements procedures pertaining to files and other administrative activities.
- Initiates and tracks all Purchase Requests via Government Purchase Card Program.
- Independently composes letters, memoranda, and responses to inquiries not of a technical nature. Reviews technical correspondence for grammatical accuracy, punctuation format, etc., and to ensure suspense dates are met.
- Reviews time and attendance cards and ensures that time and attendance is properly input for themselves. confirms schedule is inputted into the Epay.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Position requires routinely lift and carry items weighing up to 15 pounds.
- Position requires to frequently move between building and work in different areas or facilities.

Minimum Qualification Criteria
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and requirements; various office skills; and the ability to apply such skills in a way that increases the effectiveness of others.
- Must have progressively responsible work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform in such capacity.
- Positions that have a typing requirement require that the incumbent type a minimum 40 words per minute
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Power Point software.

Allowances and Differentials
- This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
- Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will be paid of 8.64% (Island if Oahu), contingent upon eligibility.
