Job summary

The United States Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a civilian Administrative Specialist to coordinate, document, and execute administrative policies. To qualify your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes: a variety of complex organizational and administrative projects and tasks such as preparing documents, reports, and/or spreadsheets; using timekeeping programs; making purchase requests and other financial transactions with the government purchasing card; filing and data entry; making travel arrangements; maintaining and procuring office supplies; providing support during meetings; maintaining records in accordance with agency policy; advising others on office operations and administrative regulations and guidance; independently interpreting and/or applying regulatory or procedural requirements; and working as a collaborative member of a team.

Time in Grade Requirement:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
