Job summary

Howard County Government in Maryland is seeking an administrative and technical support professional for the School Bus Camera Enforcement Program and other Automated Enforcement tasks. You will work under a civilian supervisor within the Traffic Management Division to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires an Associate's degree and two years of related experience, with responsibilities including bookkeeping, data reporting, and customer service, plus coordination with HCPSS and vendors.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Analytical thinking and well-developed writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering the Howard County School Bus Camera Enforcement Program and other Automated Enforcement Section programs.
• Ensure the functionality of camera systems.
• Work closely with the supervisor and contracted vendor account managers to ensure program and systems efficiency and functionality.
• Coordinate and communicate with the HCPSS Pupil Transportation Office as needed or directed.
