The Administrative Specialist is a part-time, benefits-eligible position based in Shakopee, Minnesota. The role delivers comprehensive administrative support across all CDA departments, greeting visitors, triaging inquiries, and ensuring efficient operations.
You will manage mail and supplies, update websites and databases, support housing program information, and assist with document management while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a diverse community.
The Administrative Specialist is a part-time position with a Monday through Thursday schedule. Despite the reduced schedule, this role is fully benefit-eligible. Create a welcoming and professional first impression of the Scott County Community Development Agency (CDA) office, connect guests and inquiries to the right CDA resources and deliver comprehensive administrative support across all agency departments to ensure efficient operations and high-quality client service.
This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, speaking or hearing and repetitive motions, frequently requires standing and walking and occasionally requires using hands to finger, handle or feel, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, pushing or pulling and lifting; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, operating machines, operating motor vehicles or equipment and observing general surroundings and activities; work has no exposure to environmental conditions; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).
