The Welcome Center Operations Manager is responsible for the 24/7 operations of both the Maricopa and Pima Welcome Centers. This position is responsible for workforce management functions, ensuring required staffing needs are met, and that both centers operate effectively in-order-to provide the highest caliber-of-care to children 0-17 and young adults 18-20 awaiting initial or transitional placement with an out-of-home caregiver.
Master's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
In-state travel is required. Employees may be required to use their own transportation as well as maintain valid motor vehicle insurance and current Arizona vehicle registration. Mileage may be reimbursed, if applicable.
Must be able to secure and maintain a DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Must be able to secure and maintain clearance from the Central Registry.
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.
This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, and the following requirements apply: Driver’s License Requirements.
