Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies in Fairfield, Ohio, is seeking a Second Shift Armed Security Officer to safeguard our facilities, staff, and visitors. You will monitor access points, cameras, and parking areas to prevent theft and ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls, monitor access control systems and fire alarm systems.
• Ensure compliance with corporate safety and security guidelines.

The Security Department of Cincinnati Insurance Companies is seeking to fill the second-shift Armed Security Officer role. This position offers a unique opportunity for former law enforcement officers and military veterans to apply their skills and experience in a new context. The role involves monitoring and authorizing the entry and exit of associates, visitors, and other individuals to prevent theft and ensure the security of the premises.

The pay rate for the position of a Second Shift Officer is $26.00an hour. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be Equipped With:

• minimum five years experience in law enforcement required or equivalent qualifications
• Has completed a state or federal LE certification course
• able to lawfully carry a concealed firearm
• has completed a state or federal firearms course or similar military training
• basic knowledge of security and computer systems
• valid driver's license
• Qualified candidates are available to work 40 hours a week:
• second shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• every other weekend off
