The Administrative Program Coordinator will function as a liaison and an administrative, technical and operational resource for the Director and Nurse Managers in the Emergency Department at Indian River Hospital. In this role, you assist the director with projects and daily tasks as well as coordinate policy evaluation and implementation. You will support the department’s leadership in driving improvements, monitoring current practices and collaborating on identifying inpatient needs. On this team, you will have access to various growth opportunities within Cleveland Clinic.

APRN caregiver in this position works varying days from 8:00AM – 4:00PM

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • With guidance from Director, lead or coordinate multiple projects and policy initiatives.

  • Update, monitor and manage databases.

  • Develop scorecards and milestones to track progress.

  • Analyze project improvement and progress.

  • Report discrepancies and variances.

  • Coordinate project prioritization and assist with policy and initiative implementation.

  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, preparation and communication of meetings.

  • Attend meetings and record key outcomes.

  • Support all office administrative functions.

  • Develop and maintain updates.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Associate’s Degree

  • Two years of administrative experience

  • OR High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience

  • OR Bachelor’s Degree

  • Multitasking and critical thinking skills

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field

  • Experience working in healthcare or related organization

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

  • In some locations, ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
