Job summary

DCS Corp is seeking a skilled personnel administration analyst to support Department Leadership with policy guidance, data reporting, and strategic workforce insights. The role emphasizes critical thinking, data mining, and cross‑functional coordination across DoD‑related programs.

Responsibilities include tracking personnel actions, developing evaluation plans, and providing timely information to drive informed administrative decisions.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship is required due to sensitive requirements.
  • High school diploma with 16+ years of related experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Experience in personnel management and analysis reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically and work independently.
  • Experience with data mining and data integration.
  • Knowledge of defense personnel tracking lifecycle.
  • Experience with DoD regulatory compliance procedures (DoW/DoN) helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Department Leadership on personnel administration requirements, including tracking employee movement and processing reconsideration requests.
  • Assist with the creation of program and evaluation plans, schedules ensuring accuracy, quality and timeliness.
  • Recommend and advise administrative team members across all Department divisions, ensuring consistency in personnel processes.
  • Conduct independent analysis by framing complex administration questions and applying critical thinking to execute data mining strategies.
  • Perform data integration and synthesis to standardize and merge large, complex datasets from disparate personnel systems.
  • Assist Department Leadership by tracking reassignments, separations, and hiring requirements requiring senior-level approval.
  • Assist with department data calls related to personnel management, security and initiatives.
  • Support leadership by leading and/or tracking personnel management board meetings and updating hiring requirements.
  • Synthesize and analyze historical personnel program data to optimize department end strength.

Salary Range: $96,757 - $120,000

Provide high-level administration, programmatic and personnel support for Department Leadership. Provide support to department personnel regarding policies, procedures and administrative guidance. Provide complete, and timely information reporting, leveraging critical thinking and independent data analysis to drive sound administrative -related decisions.

Essential Job Functions:

Assists Department Leadership on personnel administration requirements, including tracking employee movement and processing reconsideration requests.

Assist with the creation of program and evaluation plans, schedules ensuring accuracy, quality and timeliness.

Recommend and advise administrative team members across all Department divisions, ensuring consistency in personnel processes.

Conduct independent analysis by autonomously framing complex administration questions and applying critical thinking to execute data mining strategies that uncover actionable personnel focused insights.

Perform data integration, and synthesis to standardize and merge large, complex datasets extracted from disparate personnel systems. Analyze and interpret multiple data sets to establish a single, reliable source of truth.

Assist Department Leadership by tracking reassignments, separations, and critical hiring requirements requiring senior-level approval.

Assists with specified department data call at the request of Department Leadership including those related to personnel management, security and emerging initiatives.

Support Department Leadership by leading and/or tracking personnel management board, facilitating periodic meetings to review hiring, reassignments and personnel actions. Enter, track, and modify hiring requirements.

Synthesize, status and analyze historical personnel program data to optimize comprehensive Department end strength.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

High school diploma with 16 + years of related experience.

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.

Deep understanding of defense personnel tracking lifecycles, milestone tracking, and tools, coupled with proven U.S. Government support experience.

Previous experience in personnel management and analysis reporting, with a heavy emphasis on maintaining and communicating administration action statuses and updates to ensure continuous cross-functional alignment.

Demonstrated advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel).

Demonstrated ability to think critically and work independently. Strong problem-framing skills, quantitative analytical capabilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating programmatic risks.

Desired Skills:

Experience with DoW/DoN regulatory compliance procedures/policies.

Detail oriented and the ability to multitask and work in stressful situations with strict time constraints.

Experience within the Department of Defense.
