Job summary

SEA Wire and Cable in Madison, Alabama is seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduling Associate to support our scheduling team. You will help create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules, post schedules, and troubleshoot production issues to meet company goals and deadlines.

The role follows a Monday–Friday day shift; candidates should excel at organizing, communicating across teams, and improving workflows to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong communication and time management skills; proven track record of meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduling Associate to support our Production Scheduling team in managing and updating production orders. This administrative role plays a key part in ensuring our value-added services meet company goals and deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of the production process and contribute to the creation and maintenance of daily and weekly production schedules. Responsibilities also include posting schedules, receiving completed orders, troubleshooting production issues, developing templates, improving workflows, and supporting overall production efficiency.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Communicate schedule changes and production status updates across teams.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, squat, and lift regularly (5-15 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.).

• Regular use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment.
• Visual acuity (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and focus).
