Ahtna, Inc. is seeking a temporary Administrative/PATH Program Receptionist for its Anchorage corporate office. This role will provide skills and training for candidates to advance within the Ahtna Family.
The receptionist will provide exceptional customer service, manage calls, and perform administrative support. Applicants must be Ahtna shareholders, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have experience in customer service. The pay rate is $22/hour, and the position is contingent upon a contract award.

Summary
This position is intended to be filled by a candidate for no more than two years. This position is intended to provide skills and training to a candidate in order to give such candidate the opportunity to be promoted within the Ahtna Family of Companies.
The receptionist provides exceptional customer service as the first point of contact when visitors or shareholders visit or call reception desk. Performs administrative and office support to the staff in the Anchorage Ahtna, Inc. offices. Duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations and filing. Includes training/education to qualify for Advancement Career.

Frequent sitting for prolonged periods of time, using hands/fingers requiring dexterity and coordination to handle files and single pieces of paper, reaching with hands and arms for items above and below desk level, talking, hearing, and seeing (up close, at a distance, along the periphery, with depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus); walking from place to place within the office with occasional use of stairs and no elevator available; bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for up to 2 hours; occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds such as small office equipment, files, stacks of paper, file boxes, and other materials.

Work is performed in an office setting with ability to speak and receive phone communications often. Work requires computer usage with strength, dexterity, coordination and visual acuity to use keyboard and video display terminal and other office equipment.
Monday – Friday; 7:30am – 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5:30pm; 40 hours
