Job summary

UW Health University Hospital in Madison, WI, seeks an Administrative Operations Assistant to support credentialing, security access, visitor management, and departmental communications. This is a 100% FTE, day shift (Monday–Friday) from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm on-site at University Hospital in Madison.

The role emphasizes organization, accuracy, and customer service as you produce photo ID badges, screen visitors, manage the security card system, and handle time-sensitive data entry.

Qualifications

  • 1 year experience in an administrative support role required.
  • 3 years experience in an administrative support function preferred.
  • Previous experience in a health care setting preferred.

  • Produce photo ID badges for all UW Health employees and grant access privileges to the security card access system.
  • Provide directions and complete visitor screening and production of visitor passes at American Family Children's Hospital. This includes maintaining a list of visitor restrictions and dealing with complex visitation issues.
  • Monitor and respond to the department email inbox and perform time sensitive data entry.
