You will serve as a Administrative Officer with National Park Service, Herbert Hoover National Historic Site Administration located in West Branch, Iowa.
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Performs the full range of administrative functions in support of the park's core functions and services as the principal advisor and management consultant to the Superintendent and Leadership Team. Applies laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to keep the park's revenues and spending in balance through authoritative advice and supervision of the staff of the Administration/Business Office dedicated to budget and financial management. Serves as the principal advisor and consultant on all aspects of budget and financial management. Leads or directs unique and/or critical management planning activities to include complex and highly sensitive tasks and projects. Serves as the primary liaison with the Servicing Human Resources Office (SHRO), coordinating the identification and communication of needs and receipt of HR services from the SHRO. Serves as the point of contact for all acquisition actions issued by the park several of which are highly complicated and complex. Verifies and reviews contracting packages for submission to the Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO). Oversees payroll, timekeeping invoice and acquisition payments, internal audits and controls, travel and relocation services.
