Job summary

UCLA Outpatient Clinics is seeking an Administrative Nurse I to support clinical management and administrative coordination within the unit. The role involves implementing policies, overseeing staff training, and contributing to the unit's goals under supervision.

The incumbent will participate in peer evaluations, assist with interviewing and hiring, and monitor operations to address staff performance and patient care concerns, coordinating with the Director of Nursing & Operations on education

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical management and administrative coordination of the unit.
• Implement and monitor organizational policies and standards within the unit.
• Promote the goals and objectives of the unit in collaboration with supervisor and staff.
• Participate in peer evaluation process and interview/hire process for the unit staff when requested.
• Monitor specialty area operations to identify and report problems related to staff performance, resource issues, and patient care to the AN II.
• Present new treatment modalities or information to nursing staff as directed.
• Collaborate with ANII and Director of Nursing & Operations regarding Education to identify educational needs for staff; complete performance evaluations on orienting staff.
