Florida Orthopaedic Institute is seeking a dependable Administrative Medical Assistant to support our providers and enhance patient experience in a fast-paced orthopedic setting. Florida Orthopaedic Institute is looking for dependable, patient-focused Administrative Medical Assistants to support our providers and enhance the patient experience. In this full-time role, you will play an essential part in delivering high-volume orthopedic care while ensuring every patient feels seen, heard, and cared for.

What You’ll Do:
  • Support your assigned provider by managing their surgical schedule, coordinate pre- and post-operative appointments, including medical clearances, labs, and paperwork, ensuring all surgical documents are completed.
  • Answer incoming calls, triage messages, and document appropriately in Athena EMR.
  • Serve as a liaison between physician, patients, hospitals, attorneys, and internal departments, open, distribute, and manage physician’s mail, correspondence, and calendar.
  • Collaborate closely with your team to ensure smooth, high-quality patient flow in a busy clinical environment

What You Need:
