The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a capable Administrative Lieutenant to supervise security and detainee supervision operations at our facilities. This role focuses on coordinating staff, enforcing policies, and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

You will develop and implement security procedures, oversee training, and manage daily records to support facility goals. Strong leadership, calm decision-making, and resilience under stress are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year detention officer experience.
• Two years field supervision experience or equivalent.
• College coursework in behavioral sciences or correctional services preferred.
• Must be mature, flexible and able to handle mental stress.

Responsibilities

• Supervises security/control activities and staff to coordinate detainee supervision and safety.
• Prepares required records and reports; maintains daily logs.
• Develops and implements custody, security and/or treatment policies and procedures.
• Responds to major unusual occurrences and provides prompt assistance to detainees.
• Directs work of employees; handles training, evaluations, and discipline as needed.
• Ensures compliance with all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures for security operations and detainee care.
