The University of New England’s School of Molecular and Physical Sciences (SMaPS) in the College of Arts and Sciences is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Coordinator to join our team.
This position provides advanced administrative support for SMaPS’s daily operations, working closely with faculty, professional staff, and students, as well as colleagues across campus. The Administrative Coordinator will handle a wide variety of administrative functions, including those involving confidential and sensitive matters.
The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills; the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders; and the capacity to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.

Associates degree preferred, plus at least 2-3 year of relevant administrative experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
