Job summary

Axis Pipe and Tube Inc. is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to support Purchasing, Sales, Production Planning, and Logistics in Bryan, TX. The role involves handling orders, coordinating shipments, and maintaining ERP records in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The successful candidate will manage internal communication, optimize scheduling, and ensure accurate documentation while collaborating across departments and suppliers. Strong organization and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent business education preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in administration, customer service, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with import/export processes and transportation coordination is preferred.
  • Knowledge of customs documentation is considered an asset.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate order fulfillment and monitor delivery schedules.
  • Track inventory levels and ensure material availability.
  • Schedule inbound and outbound shipments with transportation providers.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate domestic and international freight.
  • Support import and export documentation and customs compliance.
  • Maintain accurate ERP records and production-related data.
  • Assist Purchasing, Sales, Production, and Management with administrative tasks.
  • Continuously improve administrative processes and support operational excellence.
