Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Creating new assets in recoup and tagging assets. Liaise with college personnel to schedule tagging of larger assets within specific departments.
  • Compares asset data with provided information and reconciles information accordingly.
  • Assists with data entry in preparation for the annual certification and audit responses.
  • Serves as mailroom backup staff. Duties include retrieving mail from USPS, distribution, and retrieving outgoing mail from all DCC campuses.
  • Physically receives (signs for) and logs incoming packages, for the college, using WTS software from FedEx, UPS and other carriers.
  • Adds/edits green tagged assets in a spreadsheet and saves to the property control shared drive. Saves purchase order(s) in the shared drive.

The hard-working staff of Facilities and Planning strive to build, maintain, and improve Delgado Community College. We have dedicated employees who are committed to the upkeep and safety of our College. The Property Control department is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to fill a full-time Administrative Coordinator 3 position to assist with a variety of property control measures on behalf of the college.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of experience in administrative services.

Experience Substitution

Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Position-Specific Details

Appointment Type: Probational - This position may be filled as a Probationary Appointment requiring 12-24 months on probation.
