This position is in District 05/Mechanic Shop/Unit 550 Ouachita Parish/ Monroe, LA it serves nine parishes of the Department of Transportation and Development and reports directly to the Mechanic Supervisor B. This position functions as Maintenance Clerk in a District wide or Parish wide Maintenance office. The incumbent must be self-motivated and able to perform duties independently with little to no supervision on a regular basis. The incumbent is also expected to exercise a high degree of independent judgment and initiative in determining the approach/action to take in non-routine situations that may arise.
