Job description

The PJL is a groundbreaking global 16-team competition defining a new era for showjumping.

Backed by McCourt Global and its Executive Chairman Frank McCourt, and shaped by leaders from equestrian sport, international competition, and entertainment, the PJL brings together the world’s top riders and horses to compete for the biggest prize pot in the discipline’s history ($300M guaranteed prize money across the first three seasons), across fourteen iconic venues in North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Designed to open the sport to new audiences whilst respecting its heritage, the PJL combines extraordinary athletic performance with premium entertainment, strengthened by the League’s partnership with Box to Box Films (the production company behind F1’s ‘Drive to Survive’), and supported by a free-to-view broadcasting model.

Cutting-edge technology, radical transparency, and modern team formats enhance the drama, intensity, and rivalry that define elite sport – unlocking the full potential of jumping, demanded by today’s global sports and entertainment marketplace, without compromising its core values.

Our Mission

Our mission is to elevate jumping to its rightful place as a premier global sport – championing riders and horses with a merit-based, financially sustainable league that celebrates elite athletic performance, unlocks new opportunities, and brings fans closer to the power, precision, and beauty of jumping.

We are committed to raising standards, advancing welfare, innovating through technology, and honouring the heritage of the sport while creating an accessible, world-class experience for a new generation of global fans.

About the Role:

The Administrative Coordinator provides general support across the Sporting Operations team, which is based both in the US and the UK, to keep the day-to-day running of the Series - correspondence, records, meetings and stakeholder queries - moving.

The role spans two distinct phases. Through the pre-launch period the emphasis is on setting up the records, templates and ways of working that the Series will run on. From the 2027 launch onwards the emphasis shifts to supporting the team through every Event across the season.

This is a broad support role, and a strong entry point into international sport.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Team and administrative support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sporting Operations team, including diary coordination, meeting arrangements and travel booking.
  • Prepare agendas and papers, take minutes at internal and external meetings, and track actions through to completion.
  • Maintain accurate contact records and distribution lists across the rider, owner and official base.
  • Support the team in preparing stakeholder communications ahead of each Event.

Records and reporting

  • Maintain shared files, trackers and templates, and keep version control and filing in good order.
  • Collate information from colleagues and partners for internal summaries and reports.
  • Raise purchase orders and process invoices as necessary.

Events

  • Provide general administrative support across the Event weekend, including accreditation, guest lists and the Event office.
  • Contribute to post-Event summaries, and help feed learnings into the next Event.

Skills and Experience:

Required

  • Administrative or team support experience in a sporting or events environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, and the ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping detail.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and accuracy with documentation and records.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office, shared drives and collaboration tools.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, and a professional manner with senior stakeholders.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Familiarity with equestrian sport.
  • Experience of supporting a team through a launch or period of rapid growth.
