Job summary

Pitney Bowes in Denver is seeking an Office Administrator to manage postage operations, mail handling, and general office duties. You will support daily workflows, inventory, and facilities tasks to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Flexible work arrangements available.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in office administration or related roles.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and willingness to learn firm software applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling mail, inventory, and administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in using office equipment such as postage machines, printers, and kitchen appliances.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Pitney Bowes postage machine operations, adding postage as needed.
  • Sort, scan, and deliver daily mail and packages; route interoffice mail.
  • Process outgoing mail via UPS, FedEx, post office, or courier; track deliveries.
  • Prepare EOD report for Certified Mail; visit post office if necessary.
  • Order and manage FedEx and mail supplies.
  • Brew coffee daily, stock kitchen supplies, load/unload dishwashers.
  • Conduct walkthroughs for cleanliness and safety; maintain kitchen appliances.
  • Inventory and restock snacks/drinks; reconcile purchases and approve invoices.
  • Maintain office supply inventory; reorder as needed.
  • Monitor shredding bins and manage printer supplies.
  • Oversee onsite storage; assist with Operations Department projects.
  • Serve as backup to Office Manager and Administrator; handle adhoc administrative tasks.
