Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. seeks an Administrative Coordinator to support store operations through hiring, onboarding, payroll, and compliance activities. You will manage administrative tasks, maintain employee records, and liaise between store leadership and corporate departments.

Qualifications

  • Experience reviewing applications, conducting interviews, coordinating training, and managing new hire processes.
  • Ability to manage office communications, maintain files, and handle mail and supply orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with personnel status changes, leave tracking, and benefits/payroll issue resolution.
  • Proficiency in computer-assisted hiring systems, recordkeeping tools, and communication platforms.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, labor laws (including minor scheduling), and records retention policies.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with store leadership, team members, and corporate departments.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and maintain accurate records.
  • Demonstrates initiative and dependability while working autonomously and in team settings.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and professional office environment.

Job description

A Day in the Life:

As an Administrative Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in supporting store operations through effective coordination of hiring, onboarding, payroll, and compliance activities. You’ll manage administrative tasks, maintain employee records, and serve as a liaison between store leadership and corporate departments. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
