Nature & Purpose of Position Performs complex administrative functions primarily for the department of Visitor Services and provides partial administrative support to Admissions and Enrollment Services for Medical and Health Professions. Primary Responsibilities Performs complex administrative functions primarily for Visitor Services, including purchasing, budget and financial recordkeeping, reporting, policy interpretation, and student hiring processing. Provides departmental or university information to students, families, departments, and staff. Schedules appointments, activities, and departmental events. Reviews, revises, and interprets policies and procedures. Compiles, tracks, and reviews data and reports. Attends meetings and takes notes. Prepares, reviews, revises, and distributes documents and correspondence. Orders and maintains supply inventory. Handles P-Card purchases and monitors expenses. Creates and maintains manuals and resources for office operations. Identifies and implements best practices to improve departmental processes and efficiency. Provides recruitment presentations and event coordination support and coordinates with campus partners in planning and executing recruitment and visitor events. Creates and distributes updated resources supporting daily Visitor Services operations. Provides partial administrative support to Admissions and Enrollment Services for Medical and Health Professions, including scheduling, correspondence, document preparation, purchasing and administrative processing, recordkeeping, reporting, and coordination of departmental activities. Assists with the coordination and direction of student workers and departmental activities as assigned. Performs other related duties as assigned.
