As a Administrative Assistant - Perioperative and Cardiac, you will bring your excellent time management skills and administrative experience to our department! This position will have responsibility for supporting multiple service lines and the opportunity to work with a variety of leaders within the units. Responsibilities for this position will also include calendar management, utilization of various Microsoft Office programs, assist with meeting minutes and data collection for the teams.
Employment Type: Full-time Hours per Week: 4x10s | 40hrs Shift: Days, flexible start times. Schedule: Monday-Friday On Call: Yes, weekend and holiday rotations required. Enjoy a flat rate $5/hr for call, $3/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-night shift differential, when applicable.

This position provides clerical and administrative services and assistance requiring occasional discretion and judgment.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
Working knowledge of clerical and administrative services as normally demonstrated through three years administrative support experience.
Must have the ability to follow oral and written directions as they relate to the functions listed above.
Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with departmental personnel, assist customers with inquiries, schedule meetings and appointments, as well as, provide assistance with incoming telephone calls and walk-ins.
Must have a working knowledge of personal software packages to perform the clerical and administrative functions described above.
Must have the ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task workload in a fast paced environment and maintain a professional manner.
Employees working at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital, BTMC Behavioral, and BUMG, BUMCT, or BUMCS in a Behavioral Health clinical setting that serves children must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment.
An Arizona Criminal History Affidavit must be signed upon hire.
Associate's degree
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
