Job Description
Incumbent is responsible to the Director of Adult Education for facilitating assigned adult basic education classes, maintaining student records, and developing individualized plans to assist students in achieving educational and employment goals.
Job Duties
Mandatory Qualifications
M(1) Minimum of BS Degree in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Adult Education or Related.
M(2) 2 years’ experience teaching/training adults/students using computers as an instructional tool.
M(3) Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
M(4) Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable Qualifications
D(1) Master’s Degree in business, education or computer related field.
D(2) Specialized software experience.
D(3) Community College experience and/or SCT Banner experience.
D(4) Experience in an educational setting in correctional facility.
D(5) Experience teaching High School Equivalency/Basic Skills.
