The purpose of this position is to provide advanced administrative and clerical support to an assigned department, ensuring efficient office operations and high-quality customer service. The Administrative Assistant III performs a variety of specialized duties including project coordination, data management, and departmental reporting. The position may supervise other administrative staff, temporary employees, or interns and is expected to work independently while exercising sound judgment.

Associate’s degree in business/public administration, secretarial science, or related field. 5 or more years of administrative experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

This position follows the City’s hybrid work
schedule policy as assigned by the Department of Human Resources Commissioner
and requires in‑person work at City worksites/facilities at least four (4) days
per week, with the option to work remotely one (1) day per week, based on
eligibility, departmental needs, and supervisor approval. The hybrid work
schedule is subject to change at any time to five (5) days in‑person work.
