Administrative Assistant II - Pediatric Hematology/Oncology

Administrative Assistants are vital to Cleveland Clinic’s smooth operation, enabling caregivers to focus on patient care. This role involves coordinating effectively between nursing, administrative teams, and providers to ensure a cohesive experience for patients and families.

Work hours: Days from 8:00AM - 4:30PM, 9:00AM - 5:30PM, or 10:00AM - 6:30PM.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing and prioritizing multiple assignments, acting as liaison, greeting customers, answering and triaging phone calls.
  • Administering calendar and scheduling management.
  • Preparing correspondence such as reports, forms, presentations, and messages.
  • Providing coverage in areas like front end, point of service, and registration.
  • Coordinating management functions and assisting with special projects.
Minimum qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Three years of office experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Completion of online Skills Assessment
  • Strong clerical, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree
  • Typing proficiency of 35 WPM with accuracy

Pay Range:
