Job description

Carteret Management Corporation, a Property Management Company, is seeking an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT who will work closely with the Director of Operations at our Corporate Office located near I-275 & Ulmerton Road in Saint Petersburg. This position will handle a variety of administrative and operational functions in accordance with the Company’s values of communication, customer service, and competency.

This position offers full-time hourly employment at a competitive rate with a strong benefit package including:

  1. Over 4 weeks of total PAID TIME OFF per year
  2. Affordable health plans with monthly premiums as low as $98 for medical, $24 for dental, and $8 for vision coverages including FREE Virtual Healthcare Services with enrollment

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain a positive, customer service-oriented approach with a goal of meeting team, resident, and community needs.
  2. Provide administrative support to the Director of Operations and Corporate team.
  3. Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and document messages.
  4. Address general inquiries or direct questions to the proper staff member.
  5. Perform general administrative duties as assigned including but not limited to stocking supplies, processing incoming/outgoing mail, copying, faxing, and filing.
Requirements:
  1. Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  2. A self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
  3. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  4. Detail oriented.
  5. Ability to multi-task and manage competing demands and priorities.
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  8. Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups (team members and residents).
  9. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus!
